O My mind (manasa)! Shall Ye not (rAdA) be redeemed (kaDa tEra)?

nIyeDa kalgu nija dabbarala telisi (kaDa)
O My mind! Understanding (telisi) satya (nija) (literally truth) and asatya (dabbarala) (literally falsehood) existing (kalgu) (literally arising) in Yourself (nIyeDa) by incessantly (eDa lEka) chanting (bhajana jEsi) the names of Lord, shall Ye not be redeemed?

Without getting bound (dagalakanE) by (andu) the fetter (SRnkhalamu) (SRnkhalamandu) of (anE) base (khala) minded (citta) Worldliness (laukikamu) (laukikamanE),
shine forth (velasillu) by becoming a true (nija) devotee (dAsuDai) of the Lord kRshNa – one who was tied (baddhuniki) to the wooden mortar (ulUkhala) (by His mother yaSOda);
O My mind! shall Ye not be redeemed by listening (vini) to the words (mATa) of this tyAgarAja (tyAgarAju)?

2 – laukika – purushArtha - the graduated approach – dharma – artha – kAma in pursuit of mOksha is generally considered as ‘laukika’. SrI tyAgarAja seems to echo the concluding words of SrImad-bhagavad-gIta - ‘sarva dharmAn parityaja mAmEkaM SaraNam vraja’ (surrender unto Me, abandoning all dharmas.)
